Greetings all.
I pray all is well with you.
I know, I know, it has been such a long time since I have written. I am back on track so please keep up with me.
I was surfing the web, when I came across an article on Yahoo about the cure for aging. Hmmm, I thought, a cure for aging, this is definitely a must read. I started reading and much to my dismay the cure had nothing to do with the natural things we can do to fend off aging and maintain our health past our supposed end mark. This was all about medical invasion. Receiving medicinal supplementation at timed intervals to ward off dis-ease and illness.
I was shocked. Here the medical establishment is recommending regular "shots" and medications. You would have an assessment and based on said assessment it would be determined when to receive these shots and medications. Based on their studies, with these treatments the first person to live to 120 has already been born. Within the next 50 years the first person to live to 1000 may possibly be born.
What happened to proper diet, drinking enough water, breathing, exercise, rest and elimination? I guess in this technological age taking the time to eat enough fruits and vegetables is too old hat to be a preventative measure. I guess that sitting down to eat dinner, that you prepared in your kitchen, with your family does not promote enough sense of belonging and provide enough engagement to be beneficial in our goals for health. To think that drinking actual water may actually flush out the toxins that contribute to aging is for the birds. Or that taking the time to make sure that when we breathe it is consistent with the manner in which it provides us with enough oxygen to nourish our cells.
Maybe I am too old school, but I believe that if we provide our cells with all they need to function, again, fruits, vegetables, sufficient potable water intake, breathing, exercise, rest and elimination our cells would in turn provide us with a meaningful existence after 75 years of age. An existence where we are cognizant, healthy, happy and mobile.
Could be it is just me, but maybe we should try that instead of looking for the elusive magic bullet. Maybe we should take responsibility for our lives and our health and see what happens.
That is my peace...
Until next time...

How to protect yourself from radiation and radioactive fallout.
Greetings.
We currently live in a world that is full of environmental toxins. Some of the best things we can do about living our daily lives is to eat mostly whole foods, drink plenty of beneficial water, get some rest, exercise and relax.
With the current global situation stemming from Japan, it is imperative that we boost our immune systems and protect ourselves from radioactive fallout.
The best foods: sweet potatoes, winter squash, beets, carrots, kale, collards, mustard greens, spinach, turnips, radishes, cauliflower, bok choy, brussel sprouts and broccoli.
The best herbs: arugula, ashwaganda, burdock, red clover, astragalus, nettles and garlic.
Other good foods: chlorella, chlorophyll, sea vegetables, sea salt, green and black teas and coconut cream.
Most importantly, include these foods in your diet each day, take 1 - 4 ounces of herb in a cup of hot water, let steep to make an infusion (especially red clover and burdock), 1 T. kelp daily and plenty of clean water.
Until we RAWk again.
